How to Use Cyber Scores for Personalized Postcard Campaigns

Alright, the goal here is to create direct mail postcards where each prospect sees their own specific Cyber Score details and company info, like their logo and even employee photos, pulled dynamically right onto the card.

Step 1: Get Your Cyber Score Campaign Data

  1. First, you'll want to start a new Cyber Score campaign for the prospects you're targeting.

  2. Load up the domains for those prospects into your campaign tool.

  3. Go ahead and run the campaign to pull the cyber score intelligence.

  4. Once it's done, export the campaign results – you need the CSV file, as it's the key to the whole personalization process.

Step 2: Find The Key Data Points in Your CSV

  • Now, open up the CSV export. For every prospect, you need to check and make sure you've got these specific pieces of info ready for the postcard:

    • Company Name: (Make sure you have this text field)

    • Leaked Credentials Count: (This number comes from the dark web breach data)

    • Cyber Score Percentage: (The prospect's score)

    • Company Logo URL: (You need the direct link to where their logo image is hosted – make sure it’s publicly accessible!)

    • Employee Profile Picture URL 1: (Direct link to the first LinkedIn photo you grabbed)

    • Employee Profile Picture URL 2: (Direct link to the second LinkedIn photo)

    • (Tracking Bonus): Your Branded Landing Page URL: (If you're making unique landing pages or tracking links, have that URL ready for the QR code).

Step 3: Find a Print Service That Can Do This

  • Okay, to actually make these custom postcards from your CSV data, you need to use a postcard printing service.

  • Here’s the critical part: You need to find a service that explicitly says it can handle mail merges using your CSV AND can dynamically put in both text AND images.

    • For Text: It needs to take things like the Company Name, Leaked Credentials Count, and Score % right from your CSV columns and put them onto the postcard template where you want them.

    • For Images: This is key – the service must be able to grab the Company Logo and those Employee Photos using the image URLs you provided in the CSV and place them correctly on the postcard design.

  • (Do This Before Ordering!): Talk to your print vendor or check their website carefully. Make absolutely sure they can load images dynamically using URLs from your data file. Not all mail merge services can do the image part!

Here's how I setup my design in the Stannp.com designer. You create the background image in Canva or PowerPoint and upload that to Stannp. Then you insert the placeholders for the dynamically populated images (like LinkedIn profile pictures and Company logo) and the dynamically populated text (like for the Dark Web breach count). Play around with the formatting and make sure to check the proofs before you submit your order.

Step 4: Set Up Your Tracking (You'll Want This!)

  • Make sure your postcard design includes a QR code.

  • Have that QR code link directly to the prospect's branded landing page (use the URL from your CSV if you personalized them).

  • Why? So when they scan it, you see that activity pop up on your landing page analytics or in your activity feed, and you know it worked!

So that's the flow: Get your cyber score data exported with all the right fields (especially those image URLs!). Then, find a printing service that confirms they can handle merging both the text and those dynamic images from your CSV. If you do that, you'll be ready to run those hyper-personalized campaigns that really get noticed.
