Here’s the process for effectively using the Cyber Score Card in your direct mail campaigns. This approach helps get your mail opened and starts valuable conversations. Follow these steps:

  1. Configure the Campaign in the App:

    • First, you'll need to work within the Iceberg Cyber App.

    • Set up your 'Cyber Score Campaign' and be sure to load the domains for all the prospects included in your current mailer list.

  2. Generate and Verify Branding:

    • After the app generates the individual Score Cards, take a moment to confirm your MSP branding – the logo, brand colors, and contact information – is displayed correctly on each scorecard PDF. Accuracy here is important.

  3. Order your Batch Score Cards:

    1. The Iceberg team can create the Score Card PDFs for you as a large batch. To request this, use the Chat Tool in the bottom right corner of the Iceberg app. Send us a message telling with the Campaign name that you want to get the PDFs for and we will send you the zip. That way you don't have to print the PDFs one-by-one.

  4. Print with Quality in Mind:

    • For printing, I recommend using a thick paper stock. It gives the Score Card noticeable heft and presents a more professional feel.

    • Printing Tip: When printing double-sided designs with a side panel, remember to use the "Flip on the long edge" setting in your printer options. This ensures the panels align correctly without bleed-through.

  5. Prepare for Insertion:

    • Once printed, simply trifold each Score Card neatly.

  6. Include in Your Mailer:

    • Now, place the folded Score Card directly into the envelope along with your primary direct mail piece (like the aspirin pack, casino chip, or standard letter). Think of it as adding another 'juicy hook' to your existing playbook.

  7. Understanding the Personalization (Employee Photos):

    • You'll notice these Score Cards can include employee photos from the prospect's company, making them highly personal.

    • How we obtain these photos: The system identifies employee emails via dark web breach checks linked to the prospect's domain. If those employees have connected their LinkedIn profile to the company's page and their profile picture is set to publicly viewable, that public photo may be included on the Score Card. This uses publicly available information effectively. The personalization encourages recipients to pay attention.

  8. The Purpose and Conversation:

    • The main goal here is to provide immediate, personalized value that creates an opening for engagement. You want to meaningfully connect with the people at the company, particularly any individuals pictured.

    • Frame the follow-up conversation around helping them improve their cyber hygiene. Discuss the importance of password changes, the benefits of using a password manager, and guidance on multi-factor authentication. This positions you as a helpful, knowledgeable resource and serves as an effective lead magnet.

That’s the process for incorporating these personalized Score Cards. Integrate this effectively into your ongoing direct mail campaigns.
